Handcrafted whole-log chinked construction means two things Extremely air-tight warm log structures, and a low cost/high value ratio. Chinking means the logs stay tight. Mountain logs means very little shrinkage. Whole-log construction is so simple, labor costs are a fraction of other log home and cabin construction! Results Many happy customers! You should be one! Look through the hundreds of pictures we've taken through the years. Imagine adding your own low-cost, one-of-a-kind log home to our gallery. Specifics Lodgepole Pine and Englemann Spruce logs cut in the high Rocky Mountain range, clean peeled and assembled in the dry air of the west, then shipped and re-assembled on your foundation in a matter of hours. We use top-rated Log-Jam chink. This exceptional product stretches 100% and carries a 1-hour fire rating. The double chink seal (inside and out) means air-tight, water-proof efficiency. Investment Average costs for log shell (includes complete solid log gable ends, roof supports, loft supports) about $35/ sq.ft. Shrinkage is only about 2" per 8 feet height of wall! This small shrinkage lowers finishing cost and reduces risk of future problems. Services offered We can supply just the log home shell, or a "dried-in" shell, or a turn-key package.
